WebVulnCrawl: Bad Bot / Good Bot ?

A new robot crawled my site on 2nd Jan. I know because it crawled my download script, which is prohibited by my robots.txt. The download log that was emailed to me showed the following info.

My interest piqued, I followed the trail. It's a project run by Dennis Brown; his first post explains it best.

Google me

Googling for Day Barr finally returns daybarr.com as the top result. It's been a couple of years since I've had this domain, but starting a blog and shamelessly publicising my llor.nu stats seems to have done the trick.

My esteemed colleague, Mr Matthew Arcus has held the top result for his own name for many years, but is saddened to still see little traffic to his site. Which is a shame, as he has published some clever stuff such as his map projection software. If only there was some way to help him :-)

llor.nu down

Was the recent influx of new players from the Ajaxian coverage too much for llor.nu? It's offline at the moment.

llor.nu error message

Unsurprisingly my live leader board stats are not working as a result, so don't believe everything you read in the feeds.

I'm sure that when normal service resumes, ouroboros will still be number one.
